David joined Osage in 2005 and, together with founding partner Bob Adelson, helped close Osage’s initial early stage fund and build the foundation for Osage Venture Partners. David has led or played a supporting role in each of OVP’s investments. He covers a broad range of verticals within enterprise software and leads OVP’s investing efforts in healthcare IT. David serves on the Board of Directors of 51Maps, Halfpenny Technologies, Identropy, and Wylei, and was previously a member of the Board of Directors of Automated Insights (acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2015) and Ceptaris (acquired by Actelion in 2013 for $250M). He is also a board observer of Earnest, FieldView, InstaMed, OpsDataStore and PeopleLinx. David is active with several venture organizations, including the NJEDA, where he is a member of the Technology Advisory Board. He is a frequent speaker in the region, having spoken at events sponsored by HIMSS, NJTC, Wharton, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
David is currently Co-Chairman of the University of Rochester’s Newman Community Advisory Board, where he has served since 2011. Prior to Osage, David was a mechanical engineer and project manager at Teradyne, a Boston-based manufacturer of semiconductor test equipment.
He is a native of Savannah, NY, and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from The Wharton School. David resides in Philadelphia, PA.
