Robert Adelson
Managing Partner
Bob founded Osage Partners in 1990 and has built a track record as a top-performing venture investor. He is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is a partner in a fourth generation family business. Prior to founding Osage, Bob clerked with the honorable Walter K. Stapleton, U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced corporate law at the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen. Bob’s previous venture investments include Zany Brainy, Inphonic, Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE), and GHR Systems (acquired by Metavante). He is a graduate of The Yale Law School, where he was an editor of The Yale Law Journal, and of Yale College, from which he graduated summa cum laude. Bob is a trustee of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Thomas Jefferson University, and Jefferson Health System. He is also a former President of the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School and a past member of The Yale Law School Fund.
Bob currently serves on the boards of SevOne, Halfpenny Technologies and Collections Marketing Center.
Bob and his wife Marta reside in Merion, PA. They have three children.
Nate Lentz
Managing Partner
Nate joined Osage Partners in 2008 having previously been the President and CEO of Verticalnet, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand supply management software solutions, which was sold in January, 2008 to Italy-based BravoSolution. He served as the Malvern, PA- based Verticalnet’s CEO for over five years and was attributed with leading the transformation of Verticalnet from an online operator of web portals to a proven software solution provider, while navigating the company through a financial turnaround and ultimately a successful exit. Prior to Verticalnet, Nate was a Partner at Mercer Management Consulting and led both the San Francisco and the Hong Kong offices. During his time at Mercer, he worked closely with multinational companies and high growth emerging businesses both in the U.S. and in over fifteen countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Nate began his career at Chemical Bank in New York providing lending and structured finance services to mid-size companies. He is a graduate of Brown University and of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he graduated with honors.
He serves on the Board of Directors of Canvas, Carnegie Speech, Collections Marketing Center, InstaMed, ProtonMedia, FieldView, PeopleLinx, Pneuron and Medallion Analytics. He is also a board observer of BA-Insight and Identropy.
Nate resides in Philadelphia, PA, with his wife Suzanne and his two sons and daughter.
David Drahms
Principal
David joined Osage in 2005 and is involved in several venture organizations, including PACT, Early Stage East and the 3 Rivers Venture Fair. Prior to Osage, he worked at Teradyne, Inc., a Boston-based manufacturer of semiconductor test equipment, where he was a mechanical engineer before becoming a project manager.
David serves on the Board of Directors of Halfpenny Technologies, Identropy, and Ceptaris. He is also a board observer of FieldView, InstaMed, and ProtonMedia.
He is a native of Savannah, NY, and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an MBA from The Wharton School. David resides in Philadelphia, PA.
Sean Dowling
Senior Associate
Sean Dowling joined Osage full time as an Associate in 2011, after interning with Osage as a Summer Associate in 2010 while pursuing his MBA. Previously, Sean spent five years at the Monitor Group in London, UK and Boston, MA where he served as a senior case team leader as a member of Monitor’s marketing strategy group, m2c. At Monitor, Sean focused on integrating marketing strategy and organizational design to enable Fortune 500 multinational companies to achieve sustainable growth, primarily in the consumer packaged goods and life sciences industries. Sean completed his MBA, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in Economics.
Sean serves as a board observer of Collections Marketing Center, Pneuron and Medallion Analytics.
Sean lives in Philadelphia, PA with his wife Tracy.
Michael March
Analyst
Michael joined Osage in 2011. Prior to joining Osage Partners, Michael worked for Medifast, Inc. (NYSE: MED), a Baltimore, MD-based manufacturer and distributor of meal replacement weight-loss products, as a business process analyst. Prior to Medifast, Michael was an intern with Originate Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund based in Bethlehem, PA and has been actively involved in the early-stage community through the Pennsylvania Angel Network and Angel Venture Fair.
Michael holds a B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University where he conducted research for the Center for Enterprise Informatics and Integration.
Michael resides in Philadelphia, PA.
Claudia Dunnous
Controller
Claudia joined Osage Partners as a Corporate Controller in 2006. She is a CPA with more than 25 years of experience working with private equity, retail, and manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Osage, Claudia was the Vice President of Finance and Operations of Hamburger Color Company, a privately held manufacturing company, where she successfully led the sale of the Company to a strategic buyer. Previously, Claudia provided accounting and business advisory services at Grant Thornton and Laventhol and Horwath.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association.
Claudia holds an MBA in Accounting from Drexel University and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.
